Education:

Cristelle Conanan was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999 and has been practicing family law exclusively since 2000.

After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley, Ms. Conanan attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she completed her Juris Doctorate degree. While in law school, Ms. Conanan interned for several public interest organizations, including Public Counsel, the sister organization of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, and the labor law firm of Reich, Adell, Crost & Cvitan. The practical experience she gained through these organizations combined with the formal legal education she received in law school directed her towards a career of assisting individuals with their legal needs and conflicts.

Legal Practice:

After law school, Ms. Conanan began practicing in the areas of immigration and general civil litigation before deciding to focus exclusively on family law. In 2002, she joined a large family law firm in Santa Clara County before moving to the East Bay, where she has continued to practice family law throughout the courts of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Her work in the public interest sector and experience in family law represents her commitment to serving the best interests of her clients during what is often the most difficult time in their lives. Ms. Conanan is dedicated to assisting her clients with their family law needs and concerns effectively and efficiently and has handled a wide range of family law cases, both in litigation and mediation, in the areas of dissolution as well as custody and visitation matters.
